Manual Techniques
ProAdjuster- A Instrument Assisted Technique
What is palpation? When a Chiropractor palpates (feels) your spine, they are checking for areas of resistance or lack or motion. This improper motion is called a subluxation which may affect a nerves function. In a similar fashion to palpation, the ProAdjuster can determine whether the vertebra’s motion is too rigid or too fluid.
The ProAdjuster reproduces the entire thrust and movement components of a manual adjustment but at the speed of 1/10,000th of a second! By increasing the speed at which the adjustment is administered Dr. Kellen does not need all of the force that most people associate with a manual chiropractic adjustment. The ProAdjuster has two small surface areas that all of the force is administered through, allowing Dr. Kellen to apply pinpoint, precise adjustments to one specific segment of the spine. The ProAdjuster allows for the same amount of force to be administered in every single adjustment and is 100% reproducible. By reducing the variables that can take place with the adjustment, adjusting a specific segment and using the same amount of force we can track and measure the data points that are important. This gives information as to how your body is functioning. Through specific NASA developed technology, the ProAdjuster technique makes corrections to the spine, giving the body the ability to best adapt, thrive and heal from the inside out.
Our ProAdjuster chiropractors are now able to utilize this highly sophisticated technology and apply it to the human body in order to help determine proper function. This means we can have the same level of specific and reproducible care every time by providing a gentler option without the popping or cracking of a manual adjustment.
